What are people using for good backup solutions. I'm looking for something easy and preferable in portage. I tried downloading and setting up Mondo Rescue, but I had difficulties. Can someone make some suggestions.
Thanks,

My server gets backed-up by a home made bash script. It dumps my database, copies my files, tar and bzip em up on a second harddrive. I setup cron to run it every week.
I haven't had to use any of the back-ups yet. I guess that is a good thing. _________________ - Kyle Manna

I personally use mkcdrec. It's a script ( I think just an SH script, with a helper app to split a tar) that is easy to use IMHO.
I back up to CD with it... although that limits you to backing up while your on site, you can back up to tape, remote tape, remote disk, etc.
If you want to know more about it, go to http://mkcdrec.ota.be
I found it on freshmeat a long time ago, and it's progressed nicely. (even makes bootable el-torito cds from your current boot image)
