|
|
I am a new linux user and was just rockin with gentoo, I am using Gnome for desktop. I was trying to add the osx starter bar by dragging and dropping as a user. It didn't work out as planned, I tried to delete the mess I made, but lost my starter bar. I went to the trash to retrieve it but it was gone. I cannot find a terminal to bring up now, and when I do find it, does anyone know how I can restore the starter bar?
Thanks a million if someone can help..... _________________ LS Kernel 2.6.6, Gnome 2.6 |

If you delete your .gnome2 and .gconf folders, your gnome settings will reset and your bars will return the next time you login. As for bringing up a terminal, just rightclick on the desktop and click "Open Terminal." _________________ #define NULL rand() /*heh heh heh */

gnome-vfs is a gnome module...
it lets you treat 'virtual' folders as local folders, eg. ftp folders, or the start-here:/// folder, ... _________________ jabber: tuks@amessage.be
