when i try to mount my cdrom to copy a file it says ...

Please post the relevant lines from your /etc/fstab file. A first, naive guess sounds like a typo in the filesystem-type field. If everything's OK there, you may need to rebuild your kernel to include support for the filesystem used on the CD-ROM. |

Add udf support to the kernel It's under file systems. Udf is used on dvd:s and cdrw:s I think... |

i got pissed and wiped the hd and started over lol but i figured it out. got the cdrom workin just fine and now am sitting through emerge xfree (omg its been like an hour and its still going lol) _________________ "In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti." |
