Hi
ich mußte im kernel die smp unterstützung entfernen, und danach den kernel neu kompelieren, kein thema, kernel bootet und rennt.
nur seit dem bekomme ich nur noch
"Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/....."
der witz ist, es ist nicht nur ein modul sondern alles was ich als modul eingebunden habe wird als fehlerhaft angezeigt.
im /lib/modules/.. verzeichniss liegen die dateien.
ich stehe kurz vor dem löschen des systems, weil ich keine lösung finde.
ich habe auch den vanilla kernel probiert dann gibt es noch mehr fehler
weil irgendwo der pfad des alten kernels noch drinsteht.
ich bin sicher es ist irgend eine kleinigkeit, nur hab ich mich so festgefressen das ich mich nur noch im kreis drehe
ich bin dankbar für jeden tip

keine ahnung, ob das der richtige weg wäre, aber ich würde alle module löschen in /lib/modules und anschließend neu kompilieren.....
wie gesagt, ich übernehme hierfür keine verantwortung ;) |

habe ich bereits gemacht, wenn der kernel fertig ist,
werden die dateien schön wieder erstellt. |

Ist ja auch richtig so. Hast Du evtl. Kernel-Module
installiert, die von ausserhalb stammen, also nicht direkt
beim Kernel enthalten sind? Dies koennen z.B. alsa-driver oder
pcmcia-cs sein. Jene muessen nach der Neukompilierung
des Kernels bzw. der kerneleigenen Kernel-Module ebenfalls
wieder neu kompiliert werden, also z.B. einfach emerge alsa-driver
drueberlaufen lassen.
depmod duerfte ja irgendwann bei make modules oder make modules_install
automatisch aufgerufen werden, ansonsten mal manuell versuchen.

hi
klar das ich die module nochmals installieren muß, in dem fall alsa sowie
nvidia.
bei liegt das problem, das beim booten "GAR NICHTS" was im kernel als modul angegeben ist, geladen wird.
ein depmod -a zeigt alle als unresolved an.
ein lsmod zeigt ebenfalls an das keine module geladen sind.
schaue ich ins /lib/modules verzeichniss ist alles da.
