ciao ragassi
come posso dar vedere la mia macchina digitale a gentoo???
premetto che ho gia il device /dev/sda1 occupato alla memoria del mouse da 64mb _________________ Linux yoyo 2.6.5 #2 SMP Sat May 22 10:52:10 Local time zone must be set--see zic i686 mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2600+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

non ho capito... hai un mouse che ti occupa la memoria per 64mb ?
uhmm.... ad ogni modo, per usare le macchine digitali come mass storage, devi abilitare i moduli nel kernel... avev oscritto una robina, qui |

si', ma, torno a ripetermi, cosa se ne fa un mouse, di 64Mb di ram ??? Non ho mai sentito/visto/pensato ad un mouse con la memoria

Così probabilmente hai montato il mouse in /mnt/digi. Controlla l'output di dmesg quando colleghi la macchina fotografica. Probabilmente viene creato il device /dev/sdb. _________________ "Larry the Cow was a bit frustrated at the current state of Linux Distributions..." |

Perfetto, controlla che device sono stati creati:
Poi puoi montare con:
Code: | # mount -t vfat /dev/sdb /mnt/digi |
o forse
Code: | # mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/digi |
(dipende da come viene vista, se il mouse è ancora montato in /mnt/digi devi ovviamente prima smontarlo).
Se tutto funziona puoi creare un'entry in /etc/fstab simile a quella creata per la memoria usb del mouse.
Attenzione che il nome dei device viene assegnato a seconda di come li connetti, ovvero se un bel giorno connetti prima la macchina fotografica e poi il mouse avrai sda per la prima e sdb per il secondo. _________________ "Larry the Cow was a bit frustrated at the current state of Linux Distributions..." |

come sospettava myzelf, é stato creato sdb... quindi un bel
e vedi se sia sdb1 sdb2 etc... in genere, ogni volta che stacchi e riattacchi la periferica, il device cambia, fai attenzione.
