ok,
ik had het al in de engelse groups geprobeerd, maar daar werd het vrolijk genegeerd.. Ik kan om een of andere reden niet mailen met een user die geen root is?
De user in kwestie is lid van de smmsp en de mail group, maar alsnog wil het niet lukken. ?
Dit is mijn exacte foutmelding:

Help, ik moet dit systeem zometeen gaan gebruiken als offsite web/ftp server voor klanten, maar als ik al niet mag mailen..

You forgot to change /usr/local/sbin/sendmail to have the correct new group
for (it's still at the port's version of smmsp -- 90):
chgrp smmsp /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
