Ok, this is a Vaio laptop with a memory stick reader built in. I use supermount to mount the memory. This works sometimes. The problem is, /dev/sda1 will only show up sometimes. ?!?!??! I have found an annoying and temporary solution is to attempt to mount /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc, which fails, and only THEN does /dev/sda1 appear. Which I have to manually remount b/c supermount has by then aready tried to mount it(it thinks it has I guess). My question is, Why does /dev/sda1 only show up sometimes like it should? And for the love of all things electronic, how can I squash this hindersome little problem? _________________ www.bearscanfly.org - Because hiking is cool |
