I don't know how to be specific about the error, but if someonce can tell me how, that would be greatly appreciated.

Code: |
(EE) Unable to locate/open config file
(EE) Error from xf86HandleConfigFile
No screens found |

Do you have a xorg.conf/XF86Config in /etc/X11? |

This is from my XF86Config, is it in yours?
Code: |
Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0
InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
InputDevice "DevInputMice" "AlwaysCore"
EndSection
|
(later in the file)
Code: |
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Videocard0"
Monitor "Monitor0"
DefaultDepth 16
SubSection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
EndSection
|
Notice the occurences of "screen", you should have something similar in your xorg.conf/XF86Config file. |

yeah, if you don't have that file, you'll need to make it.
I can post my old RH XF86Config file as an example if you want, but you'll have to change alot of stuff.
If you're using XOrg, it would be /etc/X11/xorg.conf
/etc/X11/XF86Config for XFree |
