I took a look at the Gentoo store and thought about a thingy I would be happy to buy: Gentoo Inside sticker for my comp case. Remember those Intel Inside stickers? Yeah, I used to have one on my toilet. But a Gentoo-sticker would be something I'd glue on my case happily.
Other stickers and suchlike might also be cool, I think they don't cost too much to make or anything. Might also be worth the while to find out how many people would like to preorder a Gentoo mousepad.
Anyway, thanks for Gentoo. My Linux experience has become vastly nicer because of it! |

I would love stickers, and I know many others would too. But, I've often wondered what a fair price would be for a sticker (since one would have to pay shipping also, and the store would have to make some profit, or it would be pointless).
I've always figured maybe a sheet of stickers could cost $10.00, and then you could also get a sticker with each purchase of a CD. I think that would be awesome. If I had the money I'd get them printed myself and then donate them to the store. But, I don't. _________________ What is the best [insert-type-of-program-here]? |

You've got a point there. I ordered a couple stickers from Unamerican.org and I think they cost something like $0.50 apiece or so. Postage I paid myself ofcourse but that doesn't really get that pricy as they can be shipped in an envelope. But yes, obviously they would have to be priced in a manner that guarantees the seller some profit. |

I bought about 100 or so stickers once for my computer building business (never took off, got a 9 to 5 instead . IIRC they were about $1 each to order. Of course there were serious discounts for larger volumes that I wasn't able to take advantage of.
With all the optical mice around these days, I personally don't see much point in mouse-pads anymore. Unless you're talking about some of those reduced-friction gamers pads. I guess I'd buy one if it was one of those. |
