howdy. I have getnoo loaded with kde3. Everything if find when I log in whith a kde3 session. But, how do bring up a terminal window when I sellect xsession?
do you think you will get better proformance in games such as tribes2 if you select xsession instead of kde3 when you log in?

second: xinit /path/to/game is propably the best way to start a game |

heh, thanks for the advice.
What I mean is, when I select xsession isntead of KDE in the KDE login screen, I jsut get a green background and a mouse. I cant get to a terminal to execute anything. |

The basic Xsession uses the twm window manager. It's very spartan. Left-click somewhere on the background to see the menu. You can start an xterm from there. |
