Hello again
So, here are my two problems which prevent me from switching to 2.6 fully.
1:Whatever I select in the kernel configuration, when booting my screen is always blank. I realized that if the vga=something isn't included in the lilo.conf there isn't such a problem. But I have enabled the function in the kernel so I can chose different resolutions.(If I cannot fix lilo, is it worth switching to GRUB and is it complicated ?)
2:Now in 2.6, only my touchpad is working, although I have connected my PS/2 mouse. The device in the XF86Config is /dev/psuaxw
Thanks for any help |

1. Yes it is worth switching to grub I use it quite successfully on all my linux boxes. If you need any help just give me a shout.
2. I don't know why that is. Does your touchpad use a ps/2 interface or usb interface? _________________ -madmanuk- |

1.Today I will try GRUB and tell if the problem is still here.
2.Don't know, doesn't anybody here have the same touchpad ? (or Compaq Evo N1020v) |
