Nulla di strano, che io sappia.. lo metto solo per completezza =)
Allora ho fatto emerge -K portage ma la situazione non è cambiata, neanche quando ho fatto emerge portage senza -K....
Da notare che prima che scriva not recognized tutta la console diventa blu e poi ritorna normale.... altro fatto curioso: se lo faccio da un vty (generalmente lo faccio da konsole) tutto diventa blu e poi solo mezzo schermo diventa nero (quasi).... faccio clear e tengo premuto invio e noto che sotto metà schermo non si scende più... ancora un'altra cosa.. quando faccio emerge da solo (che dovrebbe dare una piccola guida) a volte, senza un criterio apparente, l'output viene riassunto nell'ultima riga...
Le ultime cose che ho installato sono psyco, geoip, nicotine, kmldonkey e mirrorselect. Per quanto riguarda psyco, sia che lo abiliti o no (aggiungere qualche riga in /usr/bin/emerge lo abilita) il risultato non cambia.
Spero di essere stato chiaro (e di sicuro non lo sono stato =)

La cosa strana di sopra è che finché faccio emerge asdasd lui lo fa... emerge sync proprio non ne vuole sapere!!! e effettivamente mi sembra difficile che sia psyco =°° (io speravo che fosse appunto questo!!) comunque sto tirando avanti con emerge-webrsync o come si scrive vabbé (tanto c'è il mitico <TAB> =)... solo che mi dà dei portage-tree vecchi di almeno un giorno (beh, quello di ieri lo era)... ed è V E R A M E N T E lento
Mah se vi viene in mente qualcosa, il forum c'é =)

Hmm allora: risolto!! questa cosa è assurda
per qualche strano motivo in make.conf c'era SYNC="Asfòas§ÆЪ§Þ`ŁlhAWflafasæªßæðŋæßøfsòafdg$R¹²³"
ressapoco così... vabbé ho dovuto solo eliminarla.... La cosa che non riesco a capire è come abbia fatto questa roba ad infiltrarsi... temo perché ho fatto mirrorselect -r -a -s4
o cos'era, vabbé

Purtroppo hai beccato IL problema. Il mio disco fisso è a casino!! =) comunque sembra che tiri bene con ext3.... per ora (tanto nel giro di un mese se tutto va bene (e va bene) lo cambio --- maledetta tassa sui GB)... l'avevo già fatto una volta il controllo... non è servito a molto, perché sembra che sia un problema della meccanica delle testine.. alle volte si spegne da solo!! boh! vabbé
