I have a weird problem and I hope some of you had it too and know how to fix it.
Its really weird and I dont know where to start with troubleshooting.
Heres the issue:
When I load up a Fluxbox style that came with flux (fluxmenu/SystemStyles) the windows move smooth and I can swap from desktop to desktop with speed and ease. However, if I download and install a style from the Fluxmod web site, and select a user style after I install, the style comes up and looks great, however, the windows lag allot when I move them and switching from desktop to desktop can take over 2 sec. to switch.
Not sure where to go with this, but its kind of annoying. All the functionality is there and no log errors (I have logging enabled for flux.)
System specs are :
dual AMD 2800+, 1 GIG ram, GeForce TI4200 (Full 3d enabled), and 2.6 mm sources.
Thanks for the assistance...

You can try adding this to your X server config file:
Code: |
Option "RenderAccel" "1"
|
let me know if it helps, if it doesnt, post again, and let me know which version of Fbox you are using- _________________ linux: #232767 |

Im running version fluxbox-0.9.9.
I dont seem to get bad performance in games, just in 2d.
Thanks!!!
