When I switched to wireless access, I overwrote my /etc/init.d/net.eth0 and /etc/conf.d/net scripts. Now I need them restored. How would I do this?

Re-emerge the baselayout package.

Code:

# etcat belongs /etc/init.d/net.eth0
Searching for /etc/init.d/net.eth0 in * ...
sys-apps/baselayout-1.9.4-r2

So if I were you, I'd erase them, then emerge baselayout.

Before doing so, make sure you do
Code:
emerge -f baselayout

;)

Thanks, keli. That did the trick.
