I want to subscribe to comp.lang.python with thunderbird. However, I don't know what I should fill in for the box labeled "Server Name". I know the group is called comp.lang.python, but what do I put for the server name? Thanks. |

You will need a news server which holds that specific newsgroups and will give you access. Often your ISP will offer a news server with a large number of different newsgroups.
If thats not the case and you can't find a free news server you can still use Google Groups to access the newsgroup by web or use a commercial news provider. |
