This is really a minor little niggle, but I put an evolution button in my "start bar" (too much of a noob to know what kde calls the quick launcher next to the 'K' menu button), and the icon it uses is huge! The top and bottom of the icon is clipped it's so darn big. Any way I can change this, or should I just be happy that so far, it works great? |

You can always bump up the panel size to large
I know its not a perfect solution. the other solution is to open the icon up in gimp and change its size manually. If you do that you might want to save it under a different name so you don't erase the old one. |

I use KDE and evolution. I added the icon through the panel menu (right click on the panel, panel -> add -> button -> Internet -> Evolution) and the icon scales to what ever size the other icons are in the panel. |

I had the same experience Miles did... it just worked.
How did you go about adding it that the icon won't scale?

I just right-clicked in the start bar, selected Add Button, then chose Evolution... I added Evolution to my K menu using the menu editor, add item, then clicking on the icon and selecting the Evolution icon from the icons set. |

I had evolution put in my menu when I emerged it... but redoing the icon for it fixed the problem for me too, thanks _________________ Nebbie
