I want to have a private rsync mirror for my network, as I have a few comps that use rsync. I have a FC2 server that I would like to use for that. I cannot use emerge sync, as this is a FC2 server. What is the command I need to update FC2 with the portage tree?

will_in_wi,

You need to install an rsync server like this http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml
The instructions detial how to install on Gentoo. Proviging you can install rsync on FC2 you will be able to adapt the configuration easily.

Thanks,

I am running the sync command now on the server. Once I get it to work, I think I will post a howto.
