iptables-1.2.9 will not compile, help!

I'm using kernel 2.6.7. I even made sure to upgrade my linux-headers to 2.6.7 as well, I had to manually emerge the ebuild for that. Prior to that, the iproute2 package was complaining about the headers, but after I upgraded the headers, that was fixed, so I don't think the problem is with my kernel headers. iptables will just not compile.
