I have bought a domain name.
I have also installed and configured BIND to take care of my own dns. Does the problem could come from my zone file?

here the output of postconf -n

Quote:
[root@emaylme cngo]# postconf -n
alias_database = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases
alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases
command_directory = /usr/sbin
config_directory = /etc/postfix
daemon_directory = /usr/libexec/postfix
debug_peer_level = 2
inet_interfaces = all
mail_owner = postfix
mailq_path = /usr/bin/mailq.postfix
manpage_directory = /usr/share/man
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, $mydomain, mail.$mydomain, www.$mydomain, ftp.$mydomain
mydomain = emaylme.com
myhostname = mail.emaylme.com
myorigin = emaylme.com
newaliases_path = /usr/bin/newaliases.postfix
queue_directory = /var/spool/postfix
readme_directory = /etc/postfix/README_FILES
sample_directory = /etc/postfix/samples
sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail.postfix
setgid_group = postdrop
[root@emaylme cngo]#

and here the output of my zone file:

No, I don't think so. But there is either no postfix running on mail.emaylme.com, or port 25 is blocked. I can't connect to the smtp port from here.

edit: nmap says 25/tcp filtered smtp, so I guess either your own firewall is in the way or your cable provider blocks access to port 25 on your machine.

Hth,
Larde.

Yeah you r right. I could connect on port 25 from the network, but not from outside.
After examination, I noticed that my isp blocks port 25 (because of spammers, I guess? )
I tried to change port 25 for a non standart port (port 26), but it doesnt work.
After some research, I need to have a service like "Mail Reflector" (http://www.no-ip.com/services/mail/all/sid/) to make all this work.
Only problem, I need to pay $35 US. :(
I will change my isp, but for now, do u know any free service which can do the same than Mail Refletor?

Thank again :)

chris
