ho installato questo
ho provato a far partire da cd ma mi da schermo nero e il cd continua a leggere senza progressi.... è normale che ci metta tanto ?
ah e si puo usare la tastiera? perchè sembra non essere configurabile

Epsxe è davvero un'ottimo emulatore ma richiede un pò di attenzione quando configuri le varie plugin. Nel forum sul sito ufficiale trovi spesso i settaggi già pronti per un gioco.

hai utilizzato un bios per playstation?
altrimenti credo che non possa funzionare....
prima di settare tutti i plugins metti solo quelli in modalità software, almeno sei sicuro che funzioni (anche se probabilmente con prestazioni abbastanza scarse, dipendentemente dalla macchina che usi) |

oltre alla lista di plugins postati da koma (installa quelli che ti servono)
devi fornire un bios che non troverai in portage dato che si tratta del dump del bios della psx! è che quindi è illegale se NON possiedi una psx con lo stesso bios
(sarebbe interessante sapere se vale ancora qesto discorso o con le nuove leggi è divenuto anche illegale avere il dump di un bios che si possiede....boh!)
cmq una volta installato e configurato il tutto dovresti essere operativo....
sembra un po' paranoico ma il punto di forza di questo emu è proprio il fatto di essere modulare

FF9 è una brutta bestia. I cd sono protetti e con l'epsxe liscio non funzionano a meno di usare un crack ma il gruppo che li creava per la versione italiana è stato arrestato...
L'unico modo per farli andare è utilizzare un particolare plug-in, il P.E.Op.S. PSX CDR, legge i subcanali dal CD (oppure utilizza dei file con i subcanali estratti), ma, aimè, esiste solo per windows.
Cmq, i migliori plug-ins li ha fatti (o iniziati) tutti una sola persona, e li trovi a questo indirizzo: http://www.pbernert.com/main.htm

 Anche io usavo epsxe, ma solo con i tekken... FF9 non l'ho mai visto 
FF7 Rulez!
Umm su Linux non ho ancora giocato con epsxe... ora sono impegnato con Starcraft & Wine B)
