First of all I have a belkin f5d7000 wireless nic and I installed it using ndiswrapper. My first question is how do I make sure ndiswrapper installed my drivers right? Next after installing my card and drivers for it i tried the command iwconfig wlan0 essid belking54g, wich is my network name. However after I type that in i look at iwconfig wlan0 it only says:
ESSID:"" it doesnt have my network name in it at all. I did the command iwconfig wlan0 key (my wireless key) and it shows that it know my key but it cant connect to my router. At the moment I have no internet connection to my linux box and I would appreciate it if someone could show my some script that I could download off a windows computer, then save it on a disk and then copy it onto my linux box. Thanks for your time
