|
|
I've tried a couple of versions of wine (20040615, 20040716) and can't get O2k to install. The installer freezes when it gets to the point where it asks for the product registration code. I can type in this dialog for a few seconds and then it freezes.
My terminal output looks as follows:
Code: | ed ~/.wine/drive_c/o2k $ wine Disc1/SETUP.EXE
fixme:advapi:SetThreadToken ((nil), (nil)): stub (NT impl. only)

I have to force the window to close (or kill wineserver). I'm running gentoo-sources 2.4.25 and Gnome 2.6
Any help would be much appreciated. I've successfully installed other apps (Word2000, Visio2000). |

I managed to get wine and Office2000 working very well by installing wine-20041019 (-r3 is still available), then downloading and running winetools from http://www.von-thadden.de/Joachim/WineTools.
There are a few other hacks around, but this one works almost flawlessly. |

Did it with crossover office 1 year ago. Now I don't use MS Office. _________________ linux-2.6.17 +ck +R4 +lockless +genetic-as +... więcej nie pamiętam
