Hi all,
I am having a very weird issue with this wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Every once in a while when I type a key on my keyboard it will get repeated like 4 or 5 times on the screen. It seems to be random (has happened to a bunch of keys) and I don't think it's the keyboard itself because it works fine in Windows.
Anyone else experienced this problem before or heard about it? |

This is a common error both in Linux and Windows when using wireless keyboards.
Basically, when you press a button, the receiver is notified that a button is pressed.
When you release a button, it should also be notified. However, sometimes the wireless equipment drops this signal due to bad connectivity.
Linux will then think that you still have the button pressed.
Sollution: Get a reliable (as in, non-cordless) DIN-5 keyboard. They don't drop characters to the bit bucket ![Wink ;)](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

Thanks for the replies guys...
Guess I'll have to try to figure out something... the repeating keystrokes get old really fast. |
