Hi,
hab problem mit meiner Onboard-Netzwerkkarte im aldi-Computer mit 2.66Ghz.
Weiß zufällig jemand oder hat ne vermuten welche Kernel Configuration ich dafür benötige. Ich benutze nen 2.4.26 Kernel mit gentoo!
Weiß nur, dass das Ding irgendwas mit "Fast Etherned" im Namen trägt. alles mit Fast etherned hab ich auch schon unter den OnBoard Sachen eingestellt. angestellt. Bringt mich jedoch nicht weiter.

Lass dir genauere Infos mit "lspci" (evtl vorher pciutils emergen) ausgeben und gucke dann, wo es Treiber für Netzwerkkarten mit dem Chip gibt, viel Erfolg! _________________ 42 |

funktioniert die karte mit der livecd? dann als root ein Code: | lspci | grep Ethernet | , dann müsste der chipsatz da stehen...

Meinst du mich mit "gemein"? Wollte ich wirklich nicht sein, ich dachte die Infos sollten fürs erste reichen, dank Suchfunktion oder nem Blick in die Kernel-Config dürfte das dann doch kein Problem mehr sein.
Edit: Ich seh grad, du bist ja aus Mainz. Warst du dabei, als wir uns im Kamin treffen wollten und dann da beim Mexikaner im Cinestar gelandet sind? _________________ 42 |

weiter gehen die probleme,
jetzt klapp noch nicht mal mehr das emerge(n) - Scheiße
ich exportiere folgenden Portage:
export PGKDIR="/mnt/cdrom"
vorher hab ich den ganzen spaß natürlich gemouted.
dennoch wird nur im Internet gesucht.
Also was kann ich den hier schon wieder falsch machen? |

Um deine Netzwerkkarte zum laufen zu bringen musst du folgendes beachten:
(Im Kernelmenu (2.6.x) )

Processor type and features ->
[*] Local APIC support on uniprocessors
[ ] IO-APIC support on uniprocessors << darf nicht gesetzt sein!!!
dann
Device Drivers ->
Networking support ->
Ethernet (10 or 100Mbit) ->
[*] EISA, VLB, PCI and on board controllers
<*> SiS 900/7016 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter support
|
Danach sollte die Netzwerkkarte eigentlich gehen (wenn sie richtig eingerichtet ist)
