sorry if this is the wrong section, but i have 2 problems. every single livecd i have (knoppix, 2004.0,2004.1) boots just perfectly, but they dont have wi-fi support, so i decided to get the 2004.2 disk. well... it's not booting at all, and it is saying that it's trying to boot from cd but it goes straight into my current OS, winblows XtraPoppy

Maybe the CD burned bad? Or the download was corupted?
You could try to burn the image again or even download the image again and burn the new one. This worked for me in the past.

i've actually done that twice... it was quite a painstaking proccess... this is really kind of sucky, i wanted gentoo... i might have to switch to something with wifi compatability+works on my comp...

sry for double post, but i got it to boot... but still no wireless.... tried modprobing, insmodding from my windows part, still, not a zippydo...
