Gentoo macos and emerge sync problems

Hi,

I'm running Gentoo Macos under MacOSX 10.3.4 (Panther) but when i try ´emerge sync´ I only get this error for all files:

Failed cache update: category/file "Corruption detected when reading key 'file'"

any suggestion ?

- ignore it and wait for Nick to change the cache on the server (EDIT: in progress right now)
- downgrade to 2.0.50 portage, but that's probably not supported on the (IMO broken) MacOS X port.
