This is what happens when I hit enter at the "boot:" prompt in lilo.....
I just recently recompiled my kernel using genkernel, and this is the first time I restarted.... |

Type kernel setup stack overlaps LILO second stage. into the Quick search field and you should get the answer...
From reading over it it seems you forgot to run "lilo" after comping the new kernel.
