[Spanish-OT] Why not different laguages in OT forum?

Hello!

I'm a spanish gentoo user. These days I'm wondering about how much Off Topics are in the spanish forum. I understand it, I'm a spaniard and I know how the spanish caracter is. But, thinking about, I wonder about why not post this threats in the off the wall forum? I don't know if there're restrictions about languages on this forum, but most of the threats are in english.

I think this could be a good way to motivate people reading and writting in differents languages their own. I see people in Spanish forum -me the first- don't go away because of the facility of using their own language. May be going every day around off-the-wall forum can motivate people to try differents or to learn differents languages. Threats where people uses different languages could be really fun

Is just an idea; but, I think it could be really positive, and not too much disturbing -Other languages forums look a nice one - because the Off-The-Wall is not a very organizated forum I think

I personally don't like the idea. With posts being in 12 languages (including English), I think it would be much more difficult to find the threads that were readable.

When the new version of phpBB is released it will have a subforum option, this would allow the language forums to have an OT subforum. The main problem is that phpBB's development process seems very slow, it's unknown when the new version will be available.

When is this going to happen? I got bitched out by spanish users because I started an "OTW" topic in the spanish forum.... It was a topic found in the OTW forum that I thought wouldn't be an issue if I brought it to the spanish forum....

Subforums... can't...... wait.... any............................. longer.
