At my school I use a laptop, and its extremly annoying having to boot to windows everytime I want to print something.

My school has a windows nt domain that they use for giving out permissions to accessing network shares, network printers, etc.

Any idea about how I can access the printers and print to them from linux?
Maybe someone can point me to a howto?

Install CUPS and point it to the printer.
Done.

Alternatively, you could use Samba to make an NT domain connection, or even a combination of these.

I guess I have to do the samba thing.. because I will get access denied unless I autenticate me some way.

That depends, if you have set the sharing permissions on the NT printer to "everybody" then you should not need to authenticate.

But it will work with Samba.
