Bonjour,
Je voudrais éteindre mon écran de portable qd je sais que je ne vais pas l'utiliser pendant longtemps.
J'ai essayé avec la commande xset, mais il me sort cette erreur:

J'ai aussi essayer de mettre tout ça directement dans XF86Config, mais rien y fait. L'écran devient noir mais ne s'éteind pas complétement (il est toujours éclairé)

Merci pour ta réponse.
J'ai rajouté le load, mais ça ne change rien
L'ecran devient noir, mais il reste tjs éclairé.
Par contre la commande xset dpms force off marche (enfin pareil que plus haut, l'écran reste éclairé).
En passant qqn pourrait m'expliquer la différence entre standby, suspen, off. Chez moi, les 3 font la meme chose.
Pourtant je suis sur que c'est possible d'éteindre cet écran !
Une autre proposition???

Mais bon, il y a de l'espoir puiqu'il semblerait qu'en pensant à Xorg, le problème est résolu (d'apres ce que j'ai lu sur ton lien)
J'essaierai quand j'aurai le temps de passer Xorg.
