Anyone else noticed this ? |

Yes, the quote button needs to be 1cm more left
It just "hangs over" the edge a bit...
And at your own posts where you have more buttons (edit/delete) it gets scrambled completly.
I am using Mozilla 1.2.1

Regarding the reports of layout problems with the quote and delete buttons, I just checked using the following browsers:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
as well as various flavors of IE on Windows. This was all at 1024x768 and I also tested the Windows machines at 800x600.
It looks and operates fine in all cases. If someone who's experiencing the problem is willing to do some more troubleshooting and narrow down the cause, we'll be happy to look at it further.

I also keep wishing that the search page would remember that I like to "search for all terms", instead of defaulting to "search for any terms." Any chance this could be handled by a cookie?
Thanks!

I see the quote/edit/X button glitch as well. IIRC it exiosted on the old theme and is not really noticeable. the rightmost button doesn't have a border. It's cut off by the table. I have font sizes increased if that may be the cause.
Also i think the quick search should display threads. I just got results that had an entire page of just posts form 1 thread. |

I changed it to only show tppics. I was 50/50 on the method, still thinking about it. If others would rather it search posts, we can have a poll and vote. _________________ - Kyle Manna

Nitro: how long does it take to do this kind of thing with phpBB? I'm curious not about the time required to take the artwork, but all the other stuff: modifying the templates, creating the theme, debugging it, etc. I'm thinking of changing the look of the forums I run - SubSilver isn't a bad theme, but I've seen it way too many times. _________________ Man must shape his tools lest they shape him. |

Depends how creative and how good your php and html skills are. If you knew the look you wanted, you could probably do it one good day. But, if you are like me and aren't that creative, it might take a while for a nice style to catch your eye and then work to try and perfect it.
I thought it would be harder then it actually was.
Not too sure if that actually helps you. _________________ - Kyle Manna

It's also something of a moot point until I have artwork that I want to use, or at least an artistic vision. _________________ Man must shape his tools lest they shape him. |

I like the new colors as well. The new "Discussion forum" header logo looks cool. _________________ Best Regards

Out of curiosity, I switched back to subSilver. Very weird looking now. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
