|
|
I turn the mic on and i get this whistle instead of silence. I have no idea what the noise is coming from. The noise goes away when i switch virtual desktops in KDE, or I launch a program. I am compiling stuff right now and the noise isn't there so it seems like whenever my computer goes into an idle process the noise goes away, unfortunately it does not do this while recording. Any ideas or more information needed? |

I had a friend that had this problem and it wound up being that she used an on-board sound card. Installing a pci sound card and disabling the one onboard worked. Is yours onboard? _________________ Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't
