I have two bugs that annoy me equally. The first one is with Window Maker. If I change workspaces and then change back again to a program that was left running I cannot get the program to get focus unless I shade and unshade the window. It makes changing between workspaces really annoying. The second bug that I frustrates the hell out of me is the mouse over bug in firefox's bookmarks. The highlight will disappear for a second when you stop scrolling through the list and you will have to move the pointer to get a highlight again. It turns a simple selection into a annoying process. It is possible that the mouse over bug has been solved in newer versions as I am running 0.9.3, but I haven't heard any evidence that the bug has been fixed. Your bugs sound fixable. Are there existing bugzilla bugs for the issues you mentionend?
As for me, too many things to list unfortunately .... Sometimes I wonder why I went Linux. But hey, whats the alternative...
Cheers,

on gome2.8, with gmin rather than fam.
soemtimes, gam-server goes up to CPU100% so I have to
a) exit gnome
b) kill gam_server
c) start gnome
sometimes, it starts (gam_server_ but file alternations are not picked up |

yes, i know its buggy to begin with and only supposed to be a proof of concept, but theres this one bug in xcompmgr that pisses me off all the time, and thats when you scroll it kind of ghosts the text above. doens't happen all the time, and usually only when scrolling up, but man it gets annoying having to shade/unshade a window just to see the text again. _________________ Nitrogen - GtkMM based background setter/restorer, please test!

The Shift-Click bug that resides in the program, Me.
I spend a whole day in the library using IE sometimes(online lectures use a WMP plugin). I would have to hold Shift to open a link in a new window.
What annoys the hell outta me is that when I get back to my hostel room and use Firefox, I find myself holding Shift down instead of using the mouse gesture. _________________ blog | homepage | alias | prompts |

Soft-restarting FVWM sometimes causes it to forget to swallow the date script into my FvwmButtons and I have to restart FVWM again. I'm not thinking of any other bugs at all. _________________ Obligatory hompage link. |

Copy/paste/clipboard behavior in Gnome: closing the copy source makes it unable to paste the selection. Then I have to open the copy source again and then....well, you get the picture.
I believe a lot has been said about this already.
Gnome is like an Italian car: it haves its quircks, off-days and it needs polishing, but that's the reason why she is to be loved . |

Don't even get me started on Gnome. I want to use it but it refuses to NOT break evolution everytime I attempt to install it. _________________ Time makes more converts than reason. - Thomas Paine

I am often frustrated when I attempt to scroll a Gnome Terminal window up. The window does not refresh correctly, and ends up leaving previous terminal output illegible. |

Portage dies when it tries to install a file that has an SF_IMMUTABLE flag on it. That gets irritating; it means that we need to jump through all sorts of hoops in ebuilds to get it working properly. |

You know, I'm absolutely sure there is a bug that I have to cope with on a daily basis, however, it seems like I'm so used to the bug I don't remember what it is! _________________ Grtz,

The latest Firefox 1.0 Preview can lock up X pretty good occasionally. Other than that, which is hardly Gentoo's fault, my Gentoo box is super stable _________________ The free market gave me gonorrhea. |

A patch to fix the windowmaker flickering bug is here:

Although I am guessing that it is fixed in 9.0, which has just been released. |

Makes no difference. Besides, I need to use ISO-8859-1, as everyone else uses that. _________________ freak n:

Well,
just edit /etc/profile and add
export LANG=da_DK.iso88591
or (for Unicode)
export LANG=da_DK.UTF-8
Restart and you are done. |
