Tried the 2.6.9 kernel today, and the nvidia kernel is a no go. Even tried to remerge the nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx packacges. Sadly it fails..
Error message in dmesg is : nvidia : unknown symbol __VMALLOC_RESERVE
Anyone else had this problem? _________________ What! I'm using a computer? |

I'll try changing some of the kernel options. Even if it should work as is. _________________ What! I'm using a computer? |

You don't need to change kernel options. As already said, the very latest nvidia-kernel provides a workaround for this. sync and emerge nvidia-kernel-1.0.6111-r2 _________________ http://dev.gentoo.org/~dsd |
