Hi m8s is ASUS P5AD2-E with pci exprss and Intel 925 XE chipset supported?

Iam about to buy one so i really hope it will work with linux!!

All help in this issue fast would be nice!! Cause if it dosent work it will suck so hard that i will die!!

Rather cutting edge hardware ;-)

..why not upgrade to a Pentium 2.8 say - you'll notice a big difference - add some good memory that can be used on a later mobo - until eventual linux problems are sorted out..

I own an ASUS P5GDC-V motherboard with Intel 915G chipset. It is supposed to be compatible according to www.linuxtested.com. However, I do have difficulties with Serial ATA disks. See my topic https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=255223. I'd like to get into contact with linux users with 915 or 925 chipsets.

If it isnt compitable i have to use wintendo or anothe dist then but i love gentoo thtas what sucks i hope they fix it soon if it dosent work it seems to work with suse 9.1? according to linuxtesting.com!
