is there support by gentoo for this? Or anywhere else (even another distro?). hes looking to get into linux, but the only way hes going to get a network connection is through a firewire connecition (to his Windows PC, which has a wireless connection). Anybody know any resources for this? or if its possible? _________________ Gentoo Linux 2004.2 - gentoo-sources (2.4.26-gentoo-r6)

The kernel has firewire networking support, I have no idea how you use it though. |
