Hi,
ich habe nun 3 mal eine Installation von Gentoo nach handbuch gemacht, und bekomme immer beim ersten boot gesagt das das Dateisystem nicht ordentlich umounted worden ist, wenn ich das aber checke und neu starte kommt das wieder. Ich habe mich peniebel an die Doku gehalten....
was ist da los? Was kann da los sein, bzw. welche infos braucht ihr? _________________ --

Zeige deine /etc/fstab. Ich fürchte du hast das typische noob-Problem, /dev/BOOT /dev/ROOT usw. drin zu lassen. _________________ A! Elbereth Gilthoniel!

Also ich habe die /etc/fstab angepasst, und habe auch unter SuSE oft mit der Datei zu tun, also ich bin nicht perfekt, aber ich denke das ist korrekt.

leider zeigt sich das beim booten alles andere als schön...
denn da bekomme ich immernoch die Meldung von weiter oben.
Nun ist es aber nur jedes zweite Mal das ich mit (n) und Control-D ins System komme... denn vorher sagt der immer Control-D = reboot
Jemand einen Idee? _________________ --

Das ist aber nicht sehr hilfreich, und sagt nur das es angeblich ncht korrekt ausgehängt worden ist. _________________ --

Was mich grad dran erinnert, irgendeiner sollte mal ein "fstab syntax check" Programm schreiben, ich denk mal sowas könnte einige Probleme (dev/ROOT) etc. verhindern. |
