Running anything on an old PC sucks. I cant believe some people here use PII's. I would die, shrivel up and die if I had to use one and wait 6 hours to compile baselayout Nothing beats a 3 hours compilation of OoO |

Speaking of uselss options, doing a single emerge -aDv world makes more sense here. Don't calculate dependencies more than you have to.
That being said, I do -uD rather than a simple -u. |
