|
|
I'm about to get a projector (Sony VPL-HS10) and will be using it for DVD's, gaming and TV. My issue is that with a screen on the order of 120" (diag) I really want to get a tuner card that does HDTV.
The only one I've seen out there that might do the trick is the Hauppauge WinTV-HD (Product #698). Has anyone ever tried one of these - can I get it to work under Linux with the standard V4L drivers?
Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
Thanks - |

Thanks, that was a great link.
It is unfortunate that at this time, there is no linux support for HDTV tuners. I'll just have to wait - or learn to write drivers myself.
I guess I won't be buying that product for a while. |

its cheaper to just buy a STB hdtv device.. either on air or best bet get one from your cable company or satelite company. _________________ -turboweb.net
