|
|
i just managed to install the new ati drivers on my amd64 gentoo, now i would like to test performance/quality of the drivers (glxgears is imo just good for a quick test)
so, can anybody suggest a (good) game for testing?
requirements:
- FREE
- small (<100-200 MB)
- runs on amd64 (full 64bit support / no windows games)
- nice graphics (at least many opengl features should be used)
- easy to install
- alsa and X support
i would prefer FPS, strategic game , space combat or something like this
it should be a nice game for testing and worth playing
if you know a good benchmark that works on amd64 i would be interested in this as well!
thanks |

What about the 64-bit UT2004 demo? _________________ Per Ardua Ad Astra

UT2004 is quite large, but after a look at some screenshots and reviews i think its worth a try... seems to require much hardware power, so i think its a good one for testing performance
