ok, ive just instaled gentoo and have everything running. i emerged the nvidia-kernel/glx . ive edited th XF86Config file for the "glx" and "nvidia"..what else is there to do, because i cant get my quake3 to run? |

/dev/crystalball is just being repaired so I don't know why your quake doesn't run. How about giving error messages ? Have you tried glxgears and glxinfo first ? |

ok, it seems that i have actually got q3 working, i just needed to restart X
but whats the deal with this FPS? my max is like 80 and i barely get to that. when i used mandrake my max fps would be like 300, im using a geforce 4....any ideas? |
