ho un problema con la tastiera
dopo la creazione del xorg.conf non riesco piu a fare alcuni simboli tipo parentesi quadra cancelletto e tutti quei file che stanno sotto
la cosa strana e che se vaso su control center alla sezione layout nn ho alcuna possibilita d scegliere le bandiere
come posso risolvere?

in xorg.conf che cosa hai in Option "XkbLayout"?
io ho | Code: | | Option "XkbLayout" "us,it" |
e va a meraviglia...(se non vuoi la tastiera inglese metti solo it)
(poi magari e' un altro problema!) |

allora in xorg.conf quella riga e giusta
fuori X funziona tutto
se entro in kde e provo a fare cancelletto in shell mi fa il beep se lò faccio su un browser mi segna questo ààààà

Posso proporre di cambiare il titolo in "Problemi con il layout della tastiera" o "Problemi layout tastiera"?
Layoute basta e' un po' troppo vago IMHO

ciao lavish ho cambiato il titolo del post 
fede ho provato a mettere quello che hai detto tu ma non funziona lò stesso 
il fatto strano e che fuori da x funziona perfettamente

Aggiungi queste due righe nella ezione relativa alla tastiera del tuo xorg.conf:

Da gnome, prova dal menu:
Applicazioni->Preferenze del desktop->tastiera
scegli il layout italiano. |
