Hello there! I did not find an answer to this question: how do I correctly move my private key to another OS (if I want to re-install or use my key pair on another computer)?

hello

you want to use something like this :

Code:

gpg --export-secret-keys -a > secret.key

then just import it on the other computer. (alltho copying the files from ~/gpg will likely work just as well).
