Frasfugliando tra la documentazione di Gentoo, riferita in particolare ai ppc, Apple. Ho trovato questo:

Ma nn ho ben inteso di cosa si tratti...anzi..del tutto confuso! Potreste spiegarmi?

emerge per mac os x !
si affianca ad altri programmi di gestione pacchetti (tipo fink) che aiutano ad installare applicazioni X su Mac Os X. Naturalmente superandoli....

ecco.. stamani lho provato ma mi sono subito bloccato!
sono a scuola.. e la rete prevede il solo utilizzo di "http"...
perciò ho tentato di aggiornare il portage tree con "emerge-webrsync"...
haimé.. un messaggio sulla console risponde:

Ovviamente hai creato come c'e' scritto sulla guida di installazione il link simbolico ad /etc/make.profile, vero???

Non posso fare "--sync" ora, perchè all'università ho accesso al solo HTTP e non RSYNC.....
Ieri sera.. quando è caduta la connessione nn mi sono più allacciato.. ero in UMTS... aspetterò Stasera.. sperando che rimanga UP per tutto il tempo che occorra al "--sync"....
Ma ora che ho la possibiltà di fare un emerge-webrsync... sono col cxxxlo per terra.   |

aggiungendo la riga del proxy.... e quella del mirror di un amico al quale funz..
ma nn cambia! |

Puoi scaricare uno snapshot e installarlo a mano.
Una domanda: se vedi in strada uno che parla da solo non ti sembra un poco "strano"? Perché a me fa lo stesso effetto quando vedo 5 post di file fatti a breve distanza temporale dalla stessa persona. Perché, quando hai da dire qualcosa in più, non usi il bottone di "edit" e aggiungi in fondo all'ultimo messaggio?
