The latest 2.6.x kernel doesn't seem to support this controller yet. Does anyone have this working on their machines? Below is the lspci output.

I heard rumors that it may appear in 2.6.10, but I'm curious if anyone has a patch that I can use now to get it working!

Yeap i'm curious too, i would like to take advantage of my P4P800 Deluxe VT6410 raid controler, it is a waist of performace not havining working _________________ http://orvtech.com

You can't use it for RAID yet, but supposedly it sucks anyways. You can just use a software RAID if you want.
To get to function like a regular IDE controller use this kernel patch: http://source.robertk.com/VIA610.267.patch
Yes, it works for 2.6.10
