|
|
I´m starting to realize that throwing a __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK=1 in front of multimedia program commandlines tends to cause alot of CPU gobbling to disappear, and might be eliminating tearing effects on some video players. (which has become fairly obvious as of late)
How do I set this as a global default? |

emerge nvidia-settings is probably the easiest approach. |

Then I have to set that to autorun for each user.
Isn´t there a better way? |

Put into /etc/profile:
export __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK=1 |
