ifconfig missing after ...

i did an emerge -u world and as far as i know i only installed perl and glib but ifconfig dissapeared from /sbin/ i do have installed net-tools .
i am using ~x86 ... also i did try a diff version of net-tools and i get the same thing ...

well i did fix it but i am aondering how this happend and why after reemergin net-tools still ifconfig wont install

i did copy it from the cd )
