Today, on February 16th, KDE 3.1 is released since January 28th, the kernel 2.4.20 is now stable (no more problems with IDE support), gcc-3.2.1-r6 and xfree had now enough time to be testing !

My opinion to that... if the developer decide it's not time... then they know what they say...
Gentoo isn't like any other distribution... the final release will be out when it's a very stable release and not like commercial distribution wish need money !
Gentoo is a great distribution ! Thanx to all the community !
