I am trying to install alsa but whenever I type "depmod -a" it just gives me an error message reading
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.19-gentoo-r7/kernel/drivers/sound/soundcore.o does anyone have an idea what this could be?
