|
|
I've got my Xorg configuration set at 1600x1200, but am using 1400x1050 as my Gnome resolution. When I log out of Gnome, the login screen doesn't display properly. I think it stays at the 1400x1050, because a big part of the screen isn't visible anymore.
I know the easy fix would be to just set my Xorg resolution at the resolution I use in Gnome, but is there a better fix for this? Right now the only way I know how to correct the login screen is with ctrl-alt-backspace. Is it possible for it to correct itself?
Thanks for any help. |

when you say 'login screen' are you referring to xdm/gdm?
this is a property of the default xorg screen resolution and you may just need to adjust the fonts you are using for your gdm theme, i would suggest trying another gdm theme. |
